I went for lunch on Friday with a friend and the food was amazing. The menu was a fixed price of £9 for 2 courses and £12 for 3 courses with a choice of 2 starters, 3 main courses and 2 deserts. The menu was designed by 2 students (Alisha and Robert) and it was excellent, we both could have quite happily had any of the options as they were all good options. As it happened, I had the Thai Coconut and vegetable soup for starter and friend had duck spring rolls. For mains we had homemade steak pie and crispy plaice and avocado salad (the 3rd option was gnocchi) and for desert we had Lemon tart with ice cream and Raspberry charlotte - everything was freshly made....everything even the bread that came with the starters. It was all excellent but I'd especially call out that it was possibly the best avocado salad I've tasted and the home made ice cream was also amazing. Well done to all the students you all worked so hard and served up an excellent lunch you all deserve A* grades. I'd also note that in town you could pay twice as much for the same food so I took the opportunity to tip well and would encourage others to do the same as it goes towards the students end of term night out. P.S. please don't share this review as word might start getting out about how good this place is. P.P.S I wish I'd taken more photo's but just remembered at desert and my photo's aren't at a great angle. You should go though as it was excellent.

Delicious food - sort of food you'd get in a really fancy restaurant but at a fraction of the price. The students are enthusiastic though some of the serving students are v inexperienced which I guess is what you can expect. I'd go back again and I think it's a great thing to encourage.

What a great experience, way better than anticipated. I was surprised that for a 7 course tasting menu there would be options never mind the chance to pick 3 of the dishes! (See menu photo). Drinks to go with are on the cheaper side which is fab. Some of the servers can be a little bit nervous but it was never an issue as you can see they are trying and want to do really well. The venison was divine! And the hake was cooked to perfection. As the end of your meal you are given a very short feedback form to help the group improve and I was shocked when we were gifted with a box of sweet treats and chocolates. Will definitely return!

Two of us had a really good three course Christmas lunch at EH15. Three choices per course. I had a very generous hot smoked salmon starter, which was beautifully presented, husband had pumpkin soup which got the thumbs up. Both had turkey with trimmings, finished with Christmas pudding (him), cheese and biscuits (me). Good cheese selection and a lot of biscuits to accompany, which is very rare - usually a stack of cheese and two miserable oatcakes. Finished with lattes and mini mince pies. We both really enjoyed our meals and they were very good value. Staff are trainees supported by college staff, and are very pleasant and helpful. Fabulous views over the city from the top floor of the college too. Highly recommended.

One of Edinburgh's best kept secrets! Situated on Edinburgh College's Milton Road campus, the delicious meals are cooked and served by students of the college. There may be a bit of a wait or occasional mix ups as the young people are mastering their hospitality journal but any misstep is more than made up for by the quality of the food, the local, seasonal ingredients and the happy atmosphere. A very economical way to experience really good food. The views are really nice too.

Love this place! 2nd time here and just gets better. Visited with 2 friends who were equally impressed with the variety, quality and presentation of the food. Staff so polite and friendly. Superb value for money and lovely fun atmosphere in the restaurant which has fabulous views over Edinburgh. A real ‘must try’ venue and all helps the students progress

Today, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at E15 restaurant, where all dishes are prepared and served by professional cookery students from Edinburgh College Milton Road. The experience was enhanced by the convenient parking available for visitors; upon arrival, we simply filled out a form at reception to obtain our parking pass, making the process seamless and hassle-free. E15 restaurant is located on the third floor of The Club building, featuring a pleasant environment and excellent mountain views. We opted for the three-course lunch set, beginning with a delicious soup as a starter. For the main course, we chose the beef and prawn curry rice, which the prawn curry rice surprised us with its unique flavors and a rich blend of different ingredients. It was tasty and satisfying—truly a delightful dish. To conclude our meal, we indulged in a dessert of cake accompanied by chocolate ice cream, which was my personal favorite. The combination was divine and left a lasting impression on my palate. Overall, we were thoroughly satisfied with our lunch experience at E15. We highly recommend this restaurant, as it not only supports the culinary students but also gives patrons the opportunity to enjoy their crafted dishes. It's crucial to nurture these future talents in our hospitality industry here in Edinburgh
